• Client rely on insightful data to power our systems and solutions.
• Client is seeking an experienced information security analyst focusing on cyber threat detection to deliver cyber security insights on a daily basis.
• The ideal candidate will have strong cyber security knowledge and expertise, along with natural curiosity and a creative mind.
• While mining, interpreting, and cleaning our data, this person will be relied on to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover hidden opportunities for realizing the data’s full potential in terms of detect cyber threat.
• As part of a team of specialists, the information security analyst will “slice and dice” data using various methods and create new visions for the future.

This role plays a critical role for the Cyber Threat Management Organization:

• Work autonomously on high profile, complex and/or high risk technology initiatives with significant impact to the organization
• Expertise in analyzing best scenarios for security alerts in SIEM Platform
• Collaborate and manage relationships with other technology/business/corporate/control functions
• Identify and validate valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
• Present information using data visualization techniques
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

Must have:

• All must have are required and will be validated during the interview . Please ensure the experience are clear in the resume and highlighted in the comment section if required.
• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst
• Strong hands on experience on Splunk ES, Sentinel and LogScale
• Strong knowledge on security detection/monitoring tools (e.g. CS Falcon, PhishLab, MS defender, etc)
• Strong understanding of information technologies and how they are integrated with SIEM
• Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to have:

• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research; familiarity with Python and SQL is an asset.

Additional Information:

• The ability to be adaptable and learn new things is critical to this role as we will frequently be called to design, build and automate technology not currently in Bank.
• Highly motivated individual with a track record of successfully implementing security solutions across line of business boundaries.
• Must be able to work with a pool of experts and ensure high levels of service even when the effort crosses organizational boundaries.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Excellent customer service orientation and a professional approach; including ability to interact with all levels across the organization.
• Proven negotiation and influencing abilities, with contract/vendor management experience an asset.
• Strong communicator, with excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
