Role information:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing candidates, screening CVs, and identifying top talent through innovative and proactive methods
  • Drive employee engagement across all properties, fostering a connected, motivated, and high-performing team culture.
  • Completing all HR-related administration in a timely and up-to-date manner, using systems to maximise efficiency and minimise the need for printing.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation within the office and all Hotels- for example, the Right to work in Ireland
  • Support Managers with the disciplinary and grievance procedures by note-taking and ensuring compliance with procedures. Ensure all paperwork is prepared in advance and post meetings and checked thoroughly to meet legal requirements and avoid risk
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of company guidelines and relevant legislation to produce a safe working environment for all
  • Review and make recommendations for updating policies and procedures as required and ensure the Handbook is always up to date on Flow.
  • Manage the payments of invoices for the HR function, ensure payments to suppliers are made promptly, and that goods are received
  • Always seeking opportunities to improve ways of working in the team
  • Support and develop the administrators in the team, sharing knowledge and experience
  • Ensure employee reviews are completed within time scales using Flow, that reports are shared with Line Managers and SMT and that any training needs are reviewed, and action put in place
  • Track recognition programs to ensure they remain in place in all business units and drive support office monthly recognition program
  • Assist in tasks and projects as required
  • Contribute to the agenda of ensuring O’Callaghan Collection becomes an employer or choice in Dublin and that it becomes recognised officially as a ‘Great Place to Work.
  • Support the Eliott Hotel with HR-related aspects, organising weekly check-ups with management and ensuring all training is completed per agreed timelines.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others
  • Creative, effective administrator and team player, possessing a high degree of professionalism, sound human resources coordination capabilities
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal; A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; additional languages a definite asset.
  • Proven organizational skills, work well on their own, able to set and meet deadlines with quality results, detail and process orientated
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of; Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and other related computer applications – Ability to develop reports and write correspondence
  • Ability to work across all levels and functions of O’Callaghan Collection under own initiative in a highly pressured and vibrant environment.
