Job description: Job Description:We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Executive to join our team in the hospitality industry. The HR Executive will assist in various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll and attendance management, training, compliance, and administration. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with people and ensuring smooth HR operations within a dynamic hotel environment.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & OnboardingAssist in recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, screening, and shortlisting candidates.Coordinate interviews and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation is complete.Prepare offer letters, contracts, and other necessary HR paperwork.2. Employee RelationsServe as a point of contact for employees’ HR-related queries.Assist in managing employee relations issues and maintaining a positive work environment.Support in conflict resolution, counseling, and grievance handling.3. Training & DevelopmentSupport the HR Manager in organizing training and development programs for staff.Maintain records of training activities and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.Coordinate with department heads to assess training needs.4. HR AdministrationMaintain accurate employee records and ensure HR databases are up to date.Assist in managing employee benefits and ensure proper documentation.Oversee employee welfare programs and ensure timely processing of employee benefits.5. Payroll & Attendance ManagementProcess payroll for all hotel staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary disbursements.Maintain attendance records, including leaves, overtime, and absenteeism, and ensure they align with payroll data.Assist in handling payroll queries and provide support in resolving discrepancies.Ensure compliance with statutory deductions and benefits, such as Provident Fund (PF), Gratuity, and Taxation.6. Compliance & PoliciesEnsure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.Help in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures.Monitor the hotel’s adherence to health, safety, and other employment-related laws.7. Employee Engagement & WelfareAssist in organizing employee engagement activities, events, and celebrations.Support wellness and retention programs to enhance employee satisfaction.Monitor employee performance and assist in the performance appraisal process.8. HR ReportingPrepare HR reports and maintain necessary HR metrics.Assist in generating monthly or quarterly HR reports as required by management.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in HR, preferably in the hospitality industry.Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll management, and attendance systems.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Proficiency in MS Office, HR software, and payroll systems.Personal AttributesFriendly and approachable with a passion for people management.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Professional and presentable with a customer-oriented mindset.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Career growth opportunities within the hotel group.Health and wellness programs.Staff discounts on hotel services.
