  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and worker visa processes.
  • Must be able to read and write in Mandarin for communication with employees from China.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to read and write in Mandarin for communication with employees from China.
  • Manage HR documentation (employee files, contracts, onboarding paperwork, performance reviews) and ensure timely payroll processing.
  • Develop and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Collaborate with management on staffing needs, recruit, and onboard new hires.
  • Assist in worker visa applications, renewals, and ensure compliance with immigration laws.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and conduct exit interviews to improve engagement.
  • Coordinate with outsourced cleaning service providers to ensure quality and compliance with service agreements.
  • Identify training needs and support employee development programs.
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, health regulations, and maintain accurate employee records.
  • Collect and analyze HR metrics to inform management decisions and improve workplace culture.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and organize team-building activities.
  • Assist on some admin task
