Job description: Job Description: Job Overview:We require an experienced HSE Coordinator for a major project in Oman. The role involves ensuring compliance with the WFT OEPS Management System, conducting audits, and implementing HSE procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities:
Administer and monitor compliance with the WFT OEPS Management System.
Participate in internal audits of the OEPS management system and external audits of suppliers as per schedule.
Conduct regular reviews of the OEPS management system to ensure effectiveness and achievement of objectives.
Provide advice on implementing and verifying compliance with safe working procedures, RADAR program requirements, and site PPE policies.
Monitor RADAR process actions to ensure follow-up and closure.
Conduct and maintain current site QHSE risk assessments.
Distribute QHSE information to employees as appropriate.
Maintain HSE incident records in WPTS.
Participate in emergency response drills as per schedule.
Ensure site inductions are conducted in line with company requirements.
Participate in CPAR investigations.
Attend and contribute to site safety meetings.
Provide guidance on the application of the hierarchy of controls in risk management.
Perform facility inspections, hazard hunts, and field audits as per schedule to verify compliance with OEPS requirements.
Maintain QHSE records in accordance with OEPS standards.
Skills:
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-literate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in HSE within the field for a drilling contractor is essential.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an engineering or technical discipline.
4-6 years of experience in HSE.
Recognized HSE qualification.
