Job description: Position: HR Excellence Manager Industry: Chemical (Shared Service) Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm Duration – Now – 31st Dec 2024 (Project basis) Business Analysis and Documentation Consultancy- HR Processes Timeline: Project is estimated to start in Sept 2024, to be completed by December 2024. Project Objectives/ Expected Deliverables: Unit plan that outlinesstrategic objectives, goals, and initiatives of the unit process. Unit Scope and activities: Scope coverage, recurring activities, and ad-hoc activities Unit governance documents/ guidelines Unit process documentations such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that includes process map (including inputs, outputs, activities, and decision points), key activities (recurring activities, ad hoc activities) and its respective work instructions etc. Unit onboarding training materials Project Activities: Work closely with relevant managers to understand the process objectives, goals and initiatives of the selected process units. Utilise gathered information to create the follow documentations. Process unit plan that outlines the strategic objectives, goals, and initiatives of the respective process units. Operating level agreement that defines the scope and activities, roles and responsibilities, performance metric etc. Rules, guidelines, and procedures that govern the processes. Process documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that provide a detailed process map, including inputs, outputs, activities, and decision points, process maps in depicting the end-to-end cycle and a holistic list of key activities, both recurring and ad hoc with respective work instructions to guide through these processes. Design onboarding training materialsto help new employees understand the process unit’s operations, processes, and governance documents. Also develop assessments to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge of the respective processes. Scope of Services: Few processes are selected as initial pilot. International Labor and Social Standards (ILSS) Personnel and Social Reporting (PSR) HR Risk Management Non-Conformance Management HR Access Management Requirements: Strong analytical skills to identify business problems and recommend solutions. Required to present analysis, findings, and recommendations to the HR Management team. Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing requirements. Effective communication is essential to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, document processes and drive change management. Familiar with the tools and technologies used to create process documentation, such as Visio process mapping software. Specialised HR Technical writing competencies withhigh degree of clarity, precision, compliance, attention to detail, and audience awareness, as well as familiarity with the approval and revision processes. Good understanding of HR processes, HR Quality Assurance, ILSS (International Labor & Socials Standard) etc. would be an added advantage. Other: Consultant is expected to attend on-site meetings or discussions for approximately 2 days per week and maintain close contact with the HR Excellence APAC Managers and Director based on topics.
