Job description: Location: Suzhou, ChinaJob Summary:The HR Regional Partner & Office Manager will be integral in managing HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of the office, with additional responsibilities in interfacing with payroll providers, tax authorities, and benefit providers, as well as handling general recruiting for the location. This dual-role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities effectively. As the HR Regional Partner, you will align business objectives with employees and management, serving as a trusted consultant on HR-related matters. You will champion employee needs, anticipate HR requirements, and ensure outstanding service across the organization. The Office Manager aspect of the role includes overseeing office operations, liaising with vendors, and ensuring a productive and efficient workplace.This position will also integrate strategies determined by the global Natus HR Team, including employee learning and development, goal setting, and performance management, ensuring alignment with global HR initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and ready to contribute in a dynamic and growing company.This position will report to the Senior Director of China Operations and have a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Snr Director Human Resources, ensuring alignment with global HR strategies and initiatives. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Human Resources Regional Partner/Office Manager to join our team and help us continue to grow and thrive.Key Responsibilities:Employee Relations:· Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.· Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.· Lead the periodic Engagement Survey and feedback process.· Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.· Train managers/employees on employee recognition programs to boost morale and retention.HR Policy and Compliance:· Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure continued alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.· Stay abreast of developments in China employment laws and regulations, ensuring the organization’s compliance.· Conduct regular audits to ensure policy adherence and identify areas for improvement.· Provide training on compliance-related topics to employees and management as needed.· Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation.Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:· Manage the ATS system to ensure compliant record keeping.· Manage onboarding/offboarding activities and interface with the Dayforce system as needed.· Lead the full life cycle of our recruitment process, from understanding business needs, handling job postings and candidate selection, to ensuring a diverse and talented workforce.· Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, including maintaining a social media presence where appropriate, to attract top-tier candidates.· Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.· Manage and maintain the HRIS and onboarding process.· Create and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.· Organize and participate in job fairs and recruitment events as needed.HR Systems:· Leverage technology to streamline HR processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.· Administer and utilize HRIS and applicable HR-related data systems where necessary.· Conduct data audits to ensure accurate information is gathered and retained in compliance with data security laws.· Provide summary information for various external audits.· Develop and generate HR reports for management to support strategic planning and decision-making.Compensation, Benefits & Reporting:

  • Act as liaison to internal and external payroll and benefits partners.
  • Assist in the administration of compensation-related programs (payroll, benefits) to ensure an exceptional employee experience.
  • Lead the annual merit/bonus/goal setting/performance management processes.
  • Lead or assist in gathering, analyzing, and resolving information to complete governmental reporting requirements.
  • Conduct local market research to ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages are sustained within the Company.
  • Provide guidance on compensation and benefits-related inquiries.

International (Europe and North America) Engagement:Participate in international projects where appropriate.Attend and contribute to international meetings and collaborate with international HR partners. * Ensure alignment of HR practices across different regions.Office Management:

  • Assist the Managing Director with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Maintain and oversee critical legal, regulatory, tax, contract, lease, and insurance documentation.
  • Provide support for financial reporting and tender processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and business regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tender-related financial processes and reporting.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and coordinate with vendors for repairs and services.
  • Plan and execute office events and team-building activities.

Travel: Up to 10% domestic or international travel as needed.Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A combination of education and experience can be considered.
  • Dual Language Proficiency (verbal & written): Chinese/English
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist/Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, Chinese labour and employment laws, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively take ownership for producing positive results.
  • A resourceful self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with limited information and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in HRIS and other relevant software applications (experience with Dayforce highly preferred).
