They will ensure the safe and hygienic storage and handling of food and utensils, maintain a clean and organised learning environment, and manage equipment and resources, including the cleaning and storage of items. Ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times is essential.In addition, the Home Economics Assistant will oversee classroom and storeroom resources, maintain accurate inventory lists, monitor stock levels, and liaise with relevant staff regarding procurement and purchasing.
