Job description: A leading health system is seeking a Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs to join their team!The Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs will be employed by a large, fully integrated health system known for their acute care hospitals, specialty clinics, and health plan providers to members and patients across the mid-atlantic and southeast.The Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs will support the Health Plan division, which serves over 1 million members, primarily in Florida and Virginia.With a focus on Utilization and Case Management within Government Programs, the Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs will ensure Clinical Care Coordination, Case Management, Behavioral Health Disease Management and Utilization Management and Clinical Pharmacy Management are maintained in accordance to state and federal regulations through strategic operational leadership that ensures high-quality clinical support programs and services drive positive health outcomes for members.The Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs will have previous experience overseeing the Health Plan’s Government Programs including Clinical Care Service Programs with a focus on Medicaid, Medicare, Long-Term Support Services, and Medicare Dual Special Needs Plan. Ideally the Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs will have previous case management or utilization management experience, along with a clinical background in nursing, counseling, or social services.The Healthcare VP Managed Care & Health Plan Programs will live in an area that offers a captivating coastal lifestyle with a perfect balance between urban conveniences and natural beauty.
