Salary: Competitive, with BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist to join a leading manufacturing company. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of strategic capital projects, identifying, mitigating, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to manage and mitigate HS&E risks and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement company standards in line with legislative requirements.
  • Provide training and coaching to improve site performance in HS&E areas.
  • Promote best practices and ensure teams stay up to date with new HS&E initiatives.
  • Lead audits, inspections, and incident investigations, driving continuous improvement.
  • Report on HS&E performance and advise on the impact of legislative changes and certifications.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role, ideally within manufacturing or the food & drink industry.
  • NEBOSH qualified (minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent), with knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Membership with IOSH and IEMA.
  • Proven experience with ISO audits and a strong understanding of H&S and Environmental legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
