Job Purpose The OH Nurse will provide balance between providing patient care and success of the Health and Safety mission. The role is not limited solely from a nursing perspective but will cover health and safety management system to support corporate goals. Implementation of the health and wellness programs and the injury management program is the primary focus of the position. Main Responsibilities Schedule and implement the annual/periodic//special examination of employees Provide first aid treatment and medication for sick employees as needed Maintains all employees medical and other similar records Conducts regular inventory of medicines and medical supplies Prepares purchase or requisition of medicines and medical supplies as necessary to ensure its availability Assess employee’s examination results and refer to HMO physician for management Monitor physician’s recommendations and follow through until illness or injury is cleared Work with Health and Safety Committee to plan and implement programs designed to improve the overall health of the employees Prepare DOLE reportorial requirements i.e. Annual Medical Report, EC logbook Conduct/Organize health related training and orientation to improve health and safety awareness of employees Conduct health risk assessments as needed Lead ergonomic assessments and implement programs Lead in the implementation of health and wellness programs Support in recruitment processing and other related activities ie. PEME results evaluation Qualifications Registered nurse Completed the 40Hr OSH Training for OH Nurses With at least 2 years experience in the same function Technically capable in medical field and knowledgeable in health and industrial hygiene principles Skills in the conduct of training and orientation All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
