You’re looking to lead a focused team of experienced UX/VX designers, contributing to the strategic design and product direction in the payments space. You have high standards, and you know how to help your team reach them, through good process, clear direction, and achievable goals. You thrive in feedback cultures, and know when it’s best to action feedback or push back.Responsibilities:
– Create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing the user experience design for multiple products across platforms; follow through with the processes and tactics to implement the vision
– Lead a team of designers to create useful, usable, and desirable products in a team environment
– Guide teams to understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback
– Coach a team of designers to use business requirements to assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements
– Support the design team with planning, prioritizing, and overseeing initiatives; manage projects; ensure that all designs are executed on time and at the highest quality levels; manage and scope team initiatives, set priorities, and direct the team to ensure timely delivery
– Collaborate with senior leaders from Product Management, Marketing, and EngineeringKey job responsibilities

– Experience leading design teams
– Experience managing teams
– Experience with a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Axure, and Dreamweaver
– Experience working cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from product management, engineering, testing, and marketing
– Experience leading design teams in problem definition, artifact rendering, cross-functional collaboration and delivery, and user validation and measurement
– Experience shipping innovative, successful consumer products
– Knowledge of user experience principles and techniques
– Demonstrated ability managing ambiguity and leading complex projects from concept (incl user research) to delivery and ongoing improvementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience with agile/scrum
– Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process
