Job description: We are looking for the following:Head of unit – General Ledger in finance dept. who will be reporting to head of section – Accounts payable & GL .The BU is looking for a candidate preferably UAE national who is aware of the following.▪Managing group General Ledger activities Group GL activities performed include preparation of accruals, manual journal entries, account reconciliations, management reports and other analysis as required. Review monthly, year-end accruals for accuracy.▪Preparing and review of monthly manual and Sub ledger journal entries.▪Monthly Sub Ledger reconciliations inclusive of supporting documentation and appropriate descriptions.▪Analyze and maintain all group balance sheet accounts and its detailed schedules▪Analyze and maintain group P&L accounts and its required schedules.▪Ensure the Groups accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing.▪Assist in budgets and forecasts for Finance Department▪Account/bank reconciliations▪Managing, Establishing, monitoring, and enhancing internal controls over financial reporting procedures / activities.Preparation of risk matrix along with the assertions on all the business process.▪Performing internal audit on Internal control on Financials reporting process and recommends the areas of improvements.Years of experience :- 6 yearsDegree Bachelor’s in financeProfessional certificate :- CPA
