Collaborate across the business to identify strategic Operating Model improvement, and see change through to delivery, enabling BCB to deliver on its customer and commercial goals.Your fresh perspectives and insights will influence partners to make bold strategic choices. As a dynamic leader, thinking differently, your innovation and real energy to make a difference will bring people together to achieve the best outcomes for customers and colleagues.Reporting into the Director of Strategic Delivery & Change, within the BCB Chief Operating Office, you’ll build trusted relationships at executive level across the BCB business and lead a small team, empowering them to deliver high performance.Key Accountabilities:Identity opportunities for end-to-end Operating Model enhancement to achieve BCB’s strategic goals.Define key strategic operating model initiatives, championing coherent customer and colleague outcomes. Identify and unblock complex design and delivery challenges, often cross-functional in nature.Assure delivery of operating model change, collaborating with business areas to deliver improved productivity and efficiency.Coordinate strategic direction for the BCB operating model, ensuring alignment with customer offerings.Influence the prioritization of investment funding across BCB and pan-Group, in support of strategic operating model outcomes.Act as a central point of end-to-end alignment for operating model change across BCB, managing senior relationships across BCB leadership and other areas of the group.Collaborate with Business Leads, Platform teams, the broader Strategic Delivery & Change team, Finance and People & Places to operationalize strategic model changes.Support development of 3rd party supplier partnerships to boost efficiency and optimize costs while maintaining service quality.What You’ll NeedYour application will have strong evidence of the below skills & experience:Industry awareness – understanding of the business and commercial banking sector, including customer / market dynamics and transformation strategies.Critical thinking – Creating a vision and translating it into a clearly defined roadmap to deliver, within a complex organisation.Capability Development – develop a clear vision for Strategic Operating Model as a ‘centre of excellence’ team, aligned with strategic objectives. Able to draw on skills from multiple subject areas such as client experience, operating model, process design, technology, automation, and offshoring.Navigating Complexity – Experience in leading complex projects, working across multifunctional teams, navigating ambiguity and challenging constructively. Creative and able to make sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.Commercial Judgement – use data and insights to understand customer demand and operational performance and influence strategic decisions impacting commercial performance and customer outcomes.Collaboration & Communication- lead and collaborate across the Group, influencing at senior levels, balancing needs of multiple collaborators while driving alignment with our overall strategic direction. Excellent communication and presentation skills.Builds Effective Teams – attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team to achieve a common goal and outstanding results, using open communication, growing expertise within the team, and celebrating success.
