Job description: Job DescriptionHead of Share PlansFull TimeUK/London/Derby/HybridThe Head of Share Plans will lead the design, governance, implementation, and management of all share-based incentive programs across the organisation. You will ensure alignment with the company’s global reward strategy, driving employee engagement, retention, and shareholder value creation. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.What you will be doingYou will work closely with senior leadership, including HR, Finance, Legal, Tax and external advisors, to manage all aspects of equity programs, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global share plan strategy in alignment with the company’s reward philosophy and strategic objectives.
- Provide thought leadership on equity trends, innovations, and regulatory developments to ensure the company’s plans remain competitive and compliant.
- Manage plan documentation, including policies, guidelines, and compliance materials.
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of equity programs, including grants, vesting, exercises, and reporting.
- Ensure seamless integration with payroll, tax, and financial reporting systems across all jurisdictions. Partner with internal and external advisors to manage global compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.

- Proven track record in managing global share plans or equity-based compensation within a large, complex organization.
- Strong understanding of equity program design
- Expertise in regulatory, tax, and compliance considerations for share plans across multiple jurisdictions.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Analytical and strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience working with share plan platforms, tax & legal providers, and vendors (e.g., Computershare, Equiniti, Fidelity).
