  • Work as a key member of the senior leadership team of FundRock NZ.
  • Responsible for the overall relationship management function of FundRock NZ, delivering this either directly or with the support of a team who may report directly or indirectly to this role.
  • Manage relationships with our broad range of investment manager clients and prospects.
  • Develop, implement and manage service level agreements with our investment managers
  • Management of regular client communications, ad hoc presentations and events, and the FundRock NZ website
  • Embed the use of Salesforce as a key tool in the overall relationship management and prospecting framework
  • Manage the FundRock NZ sales pipeline, working closely with the General Manager and Product Development Manager
  • Contribute to driving sales in accordance with the agreed business plan
  • Assist in the negotiation and management of commercial terms for investment managers alongside the General Manager.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual FundRock NZ business plan and budgets
  • Assist with the development of the brand and marketing strategy for FundRock NZ
  • Contribute to Board and management papers and reporting, as applicable
  • Responsible for identifying and helping implement process improvements within our investment product and operations areas.

Skills Required:The following skills are considered desirable to carry out this role effectively:Experience and Knowledge

  • 7+ years’ experience as a senior executive within the financial services environment;
  • Experience in managing business to business relationships.
  • The ability to persuade, influence and negotiate desired outcomes with credibility in the B2B financial markets environment;
  • Good understanding and keen interest in NZ’s investment management industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms.
  • Experience with having to be 100% accurate with documentation and reporting.
  • Exposure to business strategy, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations is a plus.
