Job description: Our client is a rapidly expanding semiconductor company in Malaysia. They are seeking a senior leader to head the PMO and drive program execution, strategic alignment, and successful new product introductions (NPI). This role oversees cross-functional initiatives and leads a high-performing team of program managers and engineers.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the PMO team to support strategic initiatives

• Develop and optimize PMO processes and governance

• Drive cross-functional programs across operations, engineering, and supply chain

• Align project execution with business goals and priorities

• Oversee NPI from concept to volume production

• Coordinate communication between internal teams and global customers

• Manage risk, resolve roadblocks, and ensure on-time delivery

• Track program metrics, reporting, and documentation

• Oversee program budgeting in collaboration with Finance and Ops

• Lead customer reviews and ensure execution meets expectations

• Drive continuous improvement and PMO best practices

• Engage with suppliers to support technology readiness

• Mentor, recruit, and develop PMO talent

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science; MBA preferred

• 15+ years in manufacturing, including 10+ in program/project management

• PMP certification is a plus

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex programs

• Strong NPI, stakeholder, and customer engagement skills

• Proven ability to manage priorities, budgets, and schedules

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
