Job description: My client is hiring a seasoned Head of Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory to oversee critical compliance and regulatory functions within the communication and multimedia industry. • Oversee and direct all legal, compliance, and regulatory activities, ensuring adherence to industry laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities, including the MCMC, to advocate for compliance and facilitate regulatory processes.
• Develop and implement compliance policies that align with legal requirements and best practices for the communication and multimedia sector.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior management on regulatory changes and advise on mitigating business risks.
• Conduct regular assessments of legal, compliance, and regulatory frameworks to identify improvement areas and maintain alignment with current standards.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that all teams understand and adhere to regulatory policies and risk management procedures.
• Manage risk assessments and compliance audits to proactively address regulatory challenges.

Role requirements

• Experience: A minimum of 10 years in legal, regulatory, or licensing roles within the communication and multimedia industry.
• Industry Expertise: Experience with a telecommunications service provider and/or familiarity with MCMC guidelines and practices is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in compliance are advantageous.
