Job description: The Head of Internal Audit (regional) will lead and manage audit functions across countries in SEA, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires strategic oversight, risk management expertise, and the ability to provide actionable insights to improve operations across the business.Collaborate with senior management in your markets to conduct risk assessments and develop the internal audit plan for global consolidation and approval by the Executive Board and Audit Committee.Lead and manage a team of internal auditors, including recruitment, coaching, performance feedback, development planning, and career progression.Supervise internal audit activities across the region, ensuring comprehensive risk coverage, high-quality and timely reporting, and effective communication; also conduct advisory reviews and fraud investigations as needed.Regularly update senior management on key audit findings and risks, and monitor the progress of corrective actions and implementation of recommendations.Act as the internal audit representative in the local Audit Committee.Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal audit practices by improving methodologies, building expertise, and leveraging tools; also lead a global expert group in a specialized area.Prepare and manage the audit budget for the region, tracking actual costs against the planned budget.Regional scope & international stakeholder engagementWork closely with cross-boarder operationsA successful Head of Internal Audit role should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certifications being an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of internal auditing principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Ideally previous experience in FMCG and / or MNC companies
