Job description: The Head of Innovation Planning & SC Projects Execution Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire Export Far East (EFE) Stage-Gate process for all New Product Development (NPDs) and other key projects such as Source Transition, Renovation, Recipe changes as mandated by Group, Global/Regional Plan & Delivery, Factory and the Commercial Team to support overall growth of the company. This role will bridge the strategic plan and tactical/execution for NPDs and other Supply Chain related projects such as ensuring to streamline complexity on the following but not limited to pack size/weight, flavors, packaging formats, seasonal products and language artwork labels. The role will require in-depth understanding of Processing and Packaging capability across the 3 major factories in Vietnam, Indonesia and China. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive Stage-Gate Process: In charge of EFE Stage-Gate process from Conceptualization, Feasibility, Development, Commercialization and Post Launch. Sets clear agenda to be reviewed at each Stage process based on project criteria and drive decision making by relevant stakeholders (Go/No Go) at each Gate reviews. Seeks and aligns impact of other activities or projects that are initiated by Global/Regional team and Factory thru the Stage-Gate process. Project Management : Provides overall Master Project Schedule based on agreed lead-time and communicates status of key projects in S&OP Meetings. Decides on project assignment among the RNDP team based on overall workload. Collaborate with Local Marketing Team to gather input, address concerns, and ensure alignment on NPD progress. Escalates challenges and recommends mitigating plans to address key issues or concerns on the project. Product Roadmap Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to define and execute product roadmaps. Ensure alignment between product strategies and execution plans to achieve business objectives. NPD KPIs: Track and analyse the performance of products in the portfolio, including revenue, profitability & on-time launch. Identify opportunities for product optimization, portfolio expansion, or rationalization based on performance metrics. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product optimization, portfolio expansion, or rationalization based on performance metrics. Support Supply Chain Regional/Global initiatives on portfolio harmonization and source transition. Seeks improvement on overall Project Management process in EFE. Sets clear artwork language cluster and aligns guardrails on SKU creation. Lead NPD Global system PLM implementation for EFE. Team Development & Engagement: Upskill RNPD team to act as a business partner with in-depth know how of portfolio & sourcing matrix. Supports team engagement initiatives within EFE. QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of experience working on product innovation from ideation to launch Strong analytical skills Know how on project management Advance communication skills and able to work with different nationalities (11 markets in EFE & PH) Good understanding of the product development & manufacturing process Can handle complexity and managing multiple stakeholders (Management Team, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Factory NPDs, Regional, Process & Technology)
