Job description: Role: Head of Fire Risk AssessmentsLocation: LeedsSalary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + Car + CommissionTechnical Resources are recruiting for a Head of Fire Risk Assessments in Leeds. You will oversee the delivery of high-quality assessments across a diverse client portfolio, working with a BAFE-accredited, industry-leading provider of Fire Detection, Life Safety & Security Systems. With over 25 years in the sector, this company is expanding its operations and seeks an experienced professional to lead its Fire Risk Assessment division.Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments to ensure compliance with current legislation.
• Managing and mentoring contract-based Fire Risk Assessors.
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to Directors and clients.
• Scheduling and coordinating Fire Risk Assessments nationwide.
• Attending monthly management meetings to review progress and strategies.
• Driving the growth and profitability of the Fire Risk Assessment division.
• Recruiting and training additional Fire Risk Assessors as needed.
• Building strong relationships with clients to secure repeat business opportunities.
• Providing technical support and advice on fire safety matters.
• Conducting site visits across NHS, government, education, commercial, communal spaces, and residential blocks.
• Staying updated on changes in fire safety legislation and industry standards.

Experience and Certifications Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fire Risk Assessor (FRA).
• Level 4 Diploma Fire Risk Assessment (preferred but not essential).
• Proven experience in managing teams and projects.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
