📢 Level: Senior LeadershipStep into a high-impact leadership role with a global insurance business at the forefront of regulatory, tax, and financial reporting.We’re seeking a Head of Finance to lead financial operations and ensure compliance across APRA prudential regulation, tax, and international accounting standards within our dynamic Australian branch.This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional with strong insurance experience, a depth of regulatory knowledge, and a desire to make a strategic impact within a global business framework.Key Responsibilities:Lead all APRA prudential regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulationsOversee IFRS 17 and IFRS 16 journal entries, reconciliations, and system integrationsManage tax obligations including provision, returns, and audits (Income Tax, CbC, DTA, etc.)Partner with actuaries, auditors, and consultants to deliver accurate, timely statutory reportsReview financial statements, manage treasury, and support business planningProvide leadership and oversight to a collaborative finance teamContribute to ongoing process optimisation and ERP (Workday) system enhancementsWhat We’re Looking For:✅ CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Finance or Accounting
✅ Minimum 5+ years’ experience in financial services or insurance sector
✅ Solid experience in AUSGAAP, USGAAP, and IFRS 17 (AASB 17)
✅ Proven track record in tax reporting and liaising with regulatory bodies
✅ Strong Excel skills and experience with Workday (bonus)
