Job description: About the roleJoin this growing listed company and play a key role in delivering high-quality external financial reporting and governance. As the Head of External Reporting, you will lead a dynamic team through the quarterly reporting processes with a strong knowledge of US GAAP & IFRS. You’ll be the trusted advisor, providing technical accounting expertise and ensuring that financial information meets the highest standards. This is a pivotal role with the opportunity to shape external reporting practices and make a significant impact on the overall business.Duties

• Lead, mentor, and develop the external reporting team with a focus on culture and excellence.
• Lead preparation and submission of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide expert technical accounting advice to business units on key transactions and reporting matters.
• Manage external financial close and reporting calendar in coordination with internal teams.
• Oversee the preparation of high-quality financial reports, liaising with external auditors and stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely information.
• Build strong relationships with business units and provide practical solutions to accounting and reporting challenges.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of processes and the quality of financial reporting outputs.

Skills and Experience

• CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years relevant experience
• US GAAP listed experience in quarterly reporting
• Big-4, mid-tier background preferred
• Team management experience to lead a team of three
• A keen eye for detail, coupled with a strategic mindset
• A passion for continuous improvement
