Job description: NES Fircroft is partnering with a Luxury Brand seeking for a Head of Data & AI to drive the data and artificial intelligence strategy across the organization, leveraging data to enhance decision-making, optimize operations, and deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data and AI strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and AI engineers. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of machine learning models and AI solutions that address business challenges and drive value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, product development, and marketing, to integrate data-driven insights into business processes.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives and continuously improve processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and AI. Drive innovation through research and experimentation.
  • Manage the budget for the Data & AI department, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
