Job description: Vienna (other locations in Austria possible) | Full TimeYour positionAs the Head of Connected Ecosystems, you will drive the integration of connected technologies across our Business Unit and beyond. You will be instrumental in ensuring that RHI Magnesita’s connected solutions are fully integrated, easily identifiable, standardized, remotely accessible, and maintainable. By driving alignment across hardware, software, and measurement solutions, you will contribute to creating a cohesive ecosystem that enhances customer value and sets new industry standards. In this role, you will implement and oversee security measures to protect operational technology environments, securing data integrity, confidentiality, and availability. Closely collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will drive and streamline software solutions for sensors, systems, machinery, and robotics.Your tasks

  • Lead the deployment of solutions at customer sites to optimize operational performance and efficiency
  • Build, mentor, and align a diverse team of IT/OT professionals across multiple regions, fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing
  • Oversee continuous integration and deployment processes for seamless software updates and improvements
  • Serve as a strong interface between technical teams and the sales organization, ensuring that technical features and benefits are communicated effectively to customers

Your profile

  • Leadership experience in managing software development teams and methodologies, including leading remote and cross-regional teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, commercially relevant insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Solid experience in industrial IT solutions and customer-facing software development
  • Proven experience as a software developer with a strong understanding of software architecture, coding, and system integration
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline)
