Job description: popis pozice:In an unparalleled opportunity to lead our innovative team, we are seeking a highly driven individual for the pivotal role of Head of Compounding Line Department & Project Implementation Lead, where you’ll oversee the department’s strategic direction while ensuring seamless execution of new compounding line projects, all within a dynamic and rapidly-evolving industrial setting.
- Play a crucial role in the final stages of specifying and purchasing the extrusion line, feeding and material handling systems, and packaging systems.
- Oversee and manage the installation of all aspects of the new compounding line project, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery while identifying and mitigating potential project risks.
- Ensure compliance with local governmental, industrial, and safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams both in the region Ústí n/L and Waukegan, IL USA to achieve project goals and align compounding practices with the company.
- Effectively monitor and communicate project progress and performance.
- Have the ability to recruit, hire, train, and lead the Compounding Line Department.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members for continuous improvement in performance, quality, and safety.
- Work closely with Purchasing both in the region Ústí n/L and Waukegan to build strong supplier relationships and develop production forecasts for the region Ústí n/L line, using pricing arbitrage to meet capacity requirements for EU and US businesses.
Požadujeme:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or 5 years of related field experience.
- Demonstrable experience in managing compounding line operations.
- Experience with thermoplastic elastomers and olefin-based compounds is especially required.
- Strong project management skills and proven success in installing compounding lines and material handling systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language proficiency – fluent in Czech and English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
