• Lead the development of long-term strategic plans that align with company vision and objectives, setting clear goals and KPIs.
• Facilitate strategic workshops and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to foster collaborative strategy development and create actionable roadmaps.
• Present strategic plans and updates to VGUK and Group leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify customer needs and analyse competitive landscapes, developing strategies to enhance VGUK’s competitive position.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, pilot, and refine innovative business models, leveraging new technologies and market opportunities.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and transparency to enable the department to be an effective transformational enabler across all areas of the business.

What makes us successful together

• Proven experience in a strategic leadership role with strong analytical skills and business planning expertise.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across departments.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated ability in strategy development and team management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (desired, but not essential).
