Job description: Head of Business PartneringHead of Business Partnering opportunity. This company is a Global entity with offices in 160+locations and have embarked on a brand new IT strategy Initiative. You will be part of their initial IT Strategy Senior Leadership Hires.This Head of Business Partnering will lead the collaboration between IT and business functions, ensuring that technology initiatives drive business success. This is a senior leadership role where you will bridge the gap between IT and business units, translating strategic goals into impactful technology solutions.You will be responsible for driving and advising Senior Stakeholders on their portfolio, identifying strengths and key areas to focus along with advising them with direction in comparison to their competitors in the industry. You will define their roadmaps and collaborate with several departments such as Finance, Legal, HR, Engineering, Operation, Supply chain and Procurement.You will be key in driving decision making of roadmaps, support critical decision making and identify areas of focus for their IT Strategy within the business.Finally you will be involved hiring a team of individuals to assist you in understanding the business flows and bridging the gap between business and IT.The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in engineering analytics, ideally with experience in hardware-embedded systems within a global organization. You will have a proven track record of delivering impactful results in highly strategic roles, demonstrating exceptional ability to engage with and influence senior business and IT stakeholders.This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to the organization’s global strategy, shaping critical decisions and driving innovation at the forefront of the industry.Role / opportunity:

• Strategic IT Alignment – Develop IT roadmaps that support business strategy and digital transformation.
• Relationship Management – Act as the key liaison between IT and business functions.
• Demand Management & Prioritization – Work with business leaders to prioritize IT projects based on value and impact.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
• Project Oversight & Delivery – Lead IT project execution to ensure timely, scope-accurate, and budget-conscious delivery.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Identify opportunities for new technologies to enhance business processes. Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery and efficiency
• Be responsible for key decision-making initiatives across their engineering & analytics platforms.
• Dublin City Centre based role – Hybrid

Skills / experience:

• 10 – 15+ years’ experience, Leading a high-impact function at the intersection of business and technology.
• 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a business partnering or similar role.
• Excellent stakeholder and communication skills – you will bridge the gap between business and IT – helping them shape and make mission critical decisions.
• Proven leadership in IT initiatives that drive business success.
