Job description: I’m currently working with a well-established financial services firm to appoint a Head of 1st Line Financial Risk and Liquidity Management. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a collaborative, regulated environment offering broad strategic exposure, team management, and ownership of liquidity, capital, and treasury processes.Role Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Lead daily cash and liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and client deposit oversight

• Own and develop the firm’s ICARAP process, working closely with internal and group stakeholders

• Deliver enhancements aligned with EBA/SREP liquidity risk guidelines

• Oversee a high-performing treasury team and work closely with outsourced partners

• Drive improvements in the treasury operating model, risk controls, and client asset adherence

The Person:

• 7+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally within a regulated investment or banking environment

• Strong ICAAP/ICARAP and liquidity risk knowledge

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)

• Leadership experience and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
