Job description: Our client is a market leader in the Trading industry. We are seeking a talented individual to join them as the Strategy Head to work closely with the CEO & COO.Position Responsibilities
Lead the in-house Strategy team, focusing on corporate strategy and M&A opportunities.
Drive process improvement initiatives, collaborating with the IT team to review current processes, identify pain points, and implement changes.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and impact of strategic initiatives, ensuring they meet the company’s objectives.
Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Act as a problem solver for business units, addressing issues that cannot be resolved at the BU level.
Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, business unit leaders, and external partners, to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
Position Requirements
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Strong Strategy background in management consulting, with significant in-house experience.
Experience in supply chain, procurement, and purchasing.
M&A experience is a bonus.
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to senior management and stakeholders.
Structured-thinking and logical approach to problem-solving.
Highly organized with strong time management skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
Experience working in a global environment, with an understanding of diverse cultural and business practices.
Fluency in Cantonese and English is a must-have
