Collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you’ll be responsible for crafting and implementing strategies that ensure the seamless operation of our inventory systems, maintain stock integrity, and drive customer satisfaction.This senior role offers competitive remuneration, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.What You’ll Deliver
- Leadership & Strategy: Drive the success of inventory management, purchasing, and imports, while empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.
- Optimisation: Develop strategies to maximise efficiency in forecasting, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy, ensuring customers always find what they need.
- Operational Excellence: Manage inventory systems to reduce risk, streamline operations, and support high merchandise standards across all stores.
- Team Development: Inspire and coach your team through training, performance management, recruitment, and workflow optimisation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the ELT to meet business objectives and achieve company-wide targets.
- Customer Focus: Ensure inventory processes enable a seamless customer experience, with products readily available and in top condition.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Expertise: Significant experience in inventory management or a related field, with a track record of success in large, multi-site retail environments.
- Leadership Skills: A passion for coaching and empowering teams to reach their full potential.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in Power BI and advanced Excel are a plus, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to design and implement effective inventory strategies, balancing efficiency with customer satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Knowledge of compliance requirements, including MPI Transitional Facility Operator regulations, and a commitment to health and safety.
