Job description: HedgerWay are currently partnered with a globally renowned company based in Central London in the recruitment of Group Financial Planning & Analysis Director.The company has c.$4bn turnover, has operations in more than 120 counties and 10,000+ employees globally. They are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced commercial finance leader to join the business.As Group FP&A Director, you will have 5 direct reports and be leading the financial planning and analysis function across the business, ensuring robust financial forecasting and strategic insights aligned with reporting standards. The role is critical in guiding the company’s long-term financial strategy and supporting executive decision making.Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Providing analysis of and commentary on business performance including reporting to the Group Board.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive profitability and operational efficiency.
• Supporting the CFO in strategic planning efforts, including mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and business development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and performance analysis.
• Work with the global shared services centre to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve service delivery.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have extensive experience in a group financial planning and analysis in a multinational environment (ideally listed corporate). They are looking for someone that has the ability to articulate financial concepts to a wide and diverse group of stakeholders and that strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Expected salary: £200000 per year
