Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to step into a Group Financial Controller position within a dynamic, multinational organisation. The role offers significant responsibility and leadership in overseeing the group reporting and financial control processes for the business.Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the CFO, taking ownership of process and system development, and driving the overall departmental strategy.
• Provide strategic support and ensure the delivery of key group reporting and financial close activities.
• Lead and manage direct and indirect reporting lines, with active involvement in performance management.
• Oversee financial statements, technical accounting judgements, and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Take ownership of key systems, including future development projects.
• Play an active role at the Audit Committee level, presenting accounting considerations and managing the development of the accounting policy manual.
• Lead corporate accounting activities and manage indirect teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA) with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proven experience in financial control, audit, or advisory roles within large, multinational organisations.
• Prior exposure to complex, multi-jurisdictional environments, with experience managing across diverse cultures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills.
• A high sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
