Job description: The role of the Hotel Business Development Manager is to spearhead revenue growth and capitalise on sales opportunities by strategically managing business development initiatives for the hotel. This entails identifying, targeting, and securing new business partnerships and opportunities across various segments, including local food and beverage sales, corporate clients, international leisure and national leisure markets. Working closely with internal stakeholders such as the General Manager, Group Revenue Manager, and Group Sales & Marketing Manager, they collaborate to create exclusive partnerships and promotional offers tailored to the hotel’s target markets.The Business Development Manager also plays a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses, attractions, and event venues to enhance guest experiences and generate referrals. Through continuous performance analysis and strategic planning, the Business Development Manager identifies areas for refinement and growth, driving revenue maximisation and contributing to the hotel’s long-term success.· A degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or related field preferred, ideally in a prominent 4/5* Hotel Group· Minimum 5 years’ experience in Hotel Sales/Business Development, demonstrating success across local, regional, national, corporate, and international leisure markets.· Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets and driving revenue growth, particularly within the 4/5 Star hotel sector.· Proficiency in developing, managing, and executing strategic plans to meet group objectives.· Comprehensive knowledge and application of various marketing and sales techniques and concepts.· Strong organizational, strategic planning, negotiation, and presentation skills.· Analytical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and well-developed business acumen.· Proven skill in negotiating and closing critical sales contracts.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse stakeholders.· Strong team player with effective collaboration skills and the ability to communicate seamlessly across departments.· Positive attitude, adaptability, and professionalism in all interactions.· Energetic, Friendly, Approachable, Team player and Courteous· Impeccable standards of personal presentation.· Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as required for business needs.· Candidates need Full Driving License and their own transportPosition is recruiting now, interviews are on-site at the Hotel.
