Job description: Global Security Specialist – Travel Risk Management Security Operations PortfolioWe are seeking a dedicated and strategic Global Security Specialist to drive our Travel Risk Management Operations portfolio. The successful candidate will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing our security operations and service delivery in our Emergency Response Centre (ERC), ensuring compliance with customer obligations, regulations, and laws. Additionally, the specialist will assist in all of FGA Security’s operations. About the jobSecurity Process Leadership: Lead the development, implementation, and training of security processes and policies for the ERCSOP Management: Collaborate with the commercial team to translate customer requirements into actionable procedures for the ERCCoordination Between ERC and FGA Security: Act as the primary facilitator for collaboration between the Assistance Team in the ERC and the Security TeamOperational Support: Provide operational expertise to other teams to ensure seamless integration of security operationsUser Support and Platform Management: Act as the primary stakeholder for Travel Risk Management (TRM) technology, providing operational support, liaising with software providers, and offering trainingSecurity Consultancy and Training: Deliver expertise in travel and physical security to corporate customersSecurity Program Implementation: Work with security specialists and analysts to implement security projects and deliver services to corporate clientsEmergency Security Planning: Develop, maintain, and train personnel on emergency response plans; lead the emergency response team in the ERC when requiredTeam Management: Lead and mentor security interns and student employees, fostering a culture of collaboration and learningSecurity Duty Officer Role: Participate in a 24/7 duty officer rotation to support security-related inquiriesPrimary Tasks

• Develop and continuously improve security processes within the FGA ERC, ensuring alignment with industry best practices
• Regularly review and update SOPs to meet evolving security requirements
• Facilitate regular coordination meetings between the ERC and Security Team to strengthen emergency response capabilities
• Train internal staff and external partners on security policies, SOPs, new security products, and customer-specific protocols
• Oversee the integration of security measures into emergency response planning and overall risk management strategies
• Actively participate in security service delivery for internal and external stakeholders
• Provide user support on TRM platform issues, including onboarding new users, addressing customer requests, and troubleshooting system errors

About you

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Security Risk Management or documented professional experience in crisis management, security, public safety, military, or law enforcement
• Proven experience in travel risk management, security operations, and crisis management
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across various levels of an organization and different cultural contexts
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to work outside of standard business hours when necessary
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
