Job description: Job Description:Our client is expanding its operation and is looking for a motivated, customer focused analytical team player to join their 24/7 GSOC operation. Based in Dublin city centre and working for an international client, the Global Security Operations Centre operator will support national and international stakeholders by making the right decisions at the right time. The GSOC Operator is responsible for using best practices to identify, investigate and support all incidents that will either impact or potentially impact the business, the brand, assets and or employees.We’re looking for people who:

About the roleThe GSOC operator supports Dublin and all global offices. They give vital support to field teams as they prepare for, respond to, and recover from both crisis and non-crisis incidents.This is a day role operating 12 hours shifts 0700-1900.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • You will answer routine and emergency calls, monitor alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms and provide general assistance to both employees and guests.
  • You will possess exceptional people skills and will build relationships within the team to maintain and enhance security and safety. As part of a global operation, you will be required to work with peers in other geographic regions.
  • Dispatch security officers, ERT, facilities, Local Emergency Services and EMS personnel as required via telephone and/or radio.
  • Maintain various records of communications and events.
  • Use multiple internal and external resources to gather and manage information and intelligence about events that are occurring both domestically and internationally that may impact Client.
  • Communicate and disseminate information, using established communication vehicles, to key partners using best practices.
  • Take an active role in position related projects. The levels of responsibility will vary from consulting to owning projects based on the individual.
  • Act as a liaison between all departments and the Physical Security Department.
  • Escalate (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to appropriate management.
  • Accurately maintain control of all equipment in the GSOC.
  • Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs and monitor and respond to all security and safety system alarms.
  • Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality about specifics of sensitive information related to the role.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with access control systems and incident management platforms
  • Keen interest in global security risks

Training and Qualifications:

  • PSA License
  • Previous security operations experience is desirable
