Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.This position reports toRAMA Operations ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesWe are seeking a dynamic Global Procurement Manager to lead our procurement strategies, focusing on transition, and transformation across the globe. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, optimizing supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and assure team development across the whole organization. This role is contributing to the Global Procurement organization within Machine Automation Division Globally. Main stakeholders can be found internally within R&D, Operations and Finance and externally with our suppliers. You will be mainly accountable for: • Lead the development and execution of global cost management and sourcing strategies for direct materials and services, aligning with group strategy, R&D, and Operations. • Negotiate and establish long-term arrangements with key suppliers, implementing comprehensive supplier evaluation frameworks and ensuring compliance with group standards, supplier quality, and supplier delivery performance (On-Time Delivery / OTD). • Implement cost, productivity, quality, delivery, and inventory improvement plans using different techniques like JIT and Kanban, while managing raw materials inventories in collaboration with the Global Inventory Manager and Manufacturing team. • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and excellence by encouraging continuous improvement, leading cross-functional category teams, and managing succession planning for procurement positions.Qualifications for the role

• +15 years of experience in Global Procurement and Strategic Sourcing.
• Completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Knowledge of inventory optimization techniques (e.g., JIT, Kanban) and familiarity with operational excellence frameworks (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
• Effective leadership ability to develop and grow global category teams
• Proficient negotiation and supplier relationship management skills with expertise in cost reduction and productivity improvement programs.
• You are business fluent in English and German
