SearchSearchSenior ConsultantJob Description EMEA Recruitment is proud to partner with a market-leading global manufacturing organization that has diversified its portfolio significantly over the last decade.Our client has grown notably over the years and continues to expand their global presence in an ever-changing market.My client is looking for a Global Operations & Logistics Strategy Manager to design the global footprint for capacity, demand, warehouse operations & logistics routes in alignment with EU regulations, trade agreements and strategy planning.The role is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.Responsibilities of the Global Operations & Logistics Strategy Manager:
- Design & lead the strategy for the global Industrial operational & logistics hubs to execute best practice in alignment with sourcing strategies, trade routes and operational/optimization planning
- Coordinate and design strategic routes and processes across the entire supply chain. Liaising with multiple key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance & Procurement
- Oversee the Operational footprint, including route optimization, warehouse planning, and sourcing/networking efficiencies
- Execute best practices across logistics & sourcing networks within regulatory/trade laws, warehousing/global footprint, and automation to drive operational efficiencies
Desirable requirements:
- 8-10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations, within a global or European environment, leading large-scale projects
- Educated to degree level in Supply Chain Management or Logistics – MBA preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple cross-functional relationships, simultaneously executing global strategic & operational goals.
