They currently have a project pipeline of 20GW globally making them a market leader within the Offshore Wind industry.They are now looking to recruit a Global Manager of Site Assessment & Optimization to support their continued pipeline growth.Job Description
- You are leading the Site Assessment & Optimization team providing wind, yield, metocean, ground investigation and GIS expertise to offshore wind farm projects across the globe.
- You and your team are responsible for the site condition information and wind farm layout optimization throughout the different stages of a project covering development, execution and operation. These studies cover initial site assessments, desktop studies and final reports.
- You are responsible for developing and maintaining industry leading technical standards, optimizations and a technology roadmap for the Site Assessment and Optimization team and works.
- In addition, you are collaborating and liaising with cross-functional teams in the global organization to ensure alignment, continuous improvement and development of processes & tools to assist the team in handling their tasks efficiently and effectively.
- As a people manager you are responsible for recruiting, coaching and onboarding people and secure personal development of your employees.
- Another key focus is to ensure that skills and talents are used to their full potential and a positive work environment is created within your area of responsibility.
Candidate Requirements
- You have a successfully completed scientific or engineering degree, preferably in civil engineering, geology, meteorology or physics and have several years of professional experience in offshore wind energy.
- You bring solid experience in leading technical international teams across country borders preferably in a strong matrix organization.
- You are able to lead complex processes to a structured process, control and maintain an overview even at a high work pace.
- You have a passion for leadership and especially development of talented engineers.
- Moreover, you have excellent business proficiency in the English language.
- You enjoy and are interested in working in an international team, have strong communication skills, intercultural skills, team orientation and are willing to travel.
Expected salary: 160000 per year
