Job description: Role & Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Financial Reports: Responsible for compiling and preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting packages for both the Group and holding company. This includes gathering data from various departments, ensuring accuracy, and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.
• Monitoring Financial Closures: Oversee the monthly and annual closing processes to guarantee the completeness and accuracy of financial results. This involves coordinating with various teams to ensure all entries are recorded, reconciliations are completed, and any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with internal stakeholders across various functions to address complex organizational and operational issues. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, providing solutions that align with business objectives.
• Support for Planning and Forecasting: Offer expertise on systems and processes for financial and operational planning, including the development of accurate forecasting models. Assist teams in utilizing these tools to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Professional Certification: Qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) with strong IFRS technical skills.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GI financial reporting; familiarity with local regulations, tax, and accounting standards.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with project management experience.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; conversational in Cantonese preferred.
