Within Global Capital Investment and Real Estate, the Global Expert Real Estate Transactions is responsible for strategy, coordination, delivery and performance across all real estate transactions.As Global Expert Real Estate Transactions, you will ensure best practice, best value, governance-compliant real estate transactions and strategy are delivered across the Roche occupied real estate portfolio.Global Expert Real Estate Transactions is responsible for internal stakeholder alignment, cross-functional coordination and vendor performance management for real estate transaction management, brokerage and portfolio strategy globally, aligned to Global Capital Investment and Real Estate workflow. As a team, we drive improvements in the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of Roche occupied real estate.As a Global Expert, some of the core responsibilities would include but not limited to;Develop and implement real estate portfolio strategies at global/regional/local levelsProactively identify optimisation opportunities across the Roche portfolio, using current and new datasetsLead portfolio optimisation projects, including (but not limited to) lease acquisition/renewal/disposal, site/building acquisition/disposalGuide all aspects of real estate transactions, from requirement definition to executed lease agreement or purchase/sale documentation while Identifying and assessing potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to protect Roche interestsProvide real estate transaction subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders and managing strong stakeholder engagement, internally and externallySupport appropriate use of the Roche Global Real Estate Service Agreement (GRESA) across Roche, and ensure GRESA SLAs and target performance are achieved on all real estate transactionsManage GRESA vendor to ensure best practice, high quality real estate transaction delivery and transaction management, aligned to contract scope and performance targetsMonitor real estate transaction KPIs, documenting lessons learned and recommending corrective actions where necessary to ensure ongoing high quality performance and user satisfactionSupport the positioning of Global Capital Investment and Real Estate as centre of excellence in the Roche Corporate Real Estate communityWho you are:University level education (BA/BSc or equivalent) in real estate or a related fieldAt least 8 years proven track record in major real estate strategy & transaction delivery, ideally for corporate occupier, external service provider and landlordInternational experience across several companies and cultures, with experience in managing experienced senior stakeholders within large multinational organisationsDeep understanding of vendor operating models and ability to drive strong vendor performance through leadership and contract managementIdeally Membership or Fellowship of the Royal Institution of Chartered SurveyorsStrategic and logical approach with the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level while building lasting relationships with stakeholders from diverse culturesProven ability to collaborate and lead (without direct reports) across multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix organisationThis is an exciting opportunity to work within an inclusive environment, where there is emphasis on personal and professional growth.
