We offer challenging and meaningful careers, with competitive benefits and flexible work arrangements.Job DescriptionGlobal Category Leader – Flow, E&IIn this REMOTE role, you must be based in EUROPE.What is the purpose of the role?The Global Category leader- Flow E&I will report into Global Category Management Team Leader. You will have circa an ~$80M spend portfolio and will be responsible for developing, validating and implementing the global Procurement strategy for sub-categories within the portfolio.You will work with with Procurement Project/Product Leaders, Regional Category Leader, Technology, and Supply Chain Leaders.What are the day to day duties?

• Define a Global Category Strategy for assigned Categories that drives continuous improvement within the Category and benefits to the business
• Develop/Manage Preferred Supplier Network and Strategic Suppliers
• Define Contracting Strategy and lead Supplier Negotiations
• Drive Cash Improvements across assigned Categories
• Mitigate Risks to the business by driving a comprehensive strategy that builds a flexible supply chain and ensures continuity of supply
• Develop Best Cost Country strategy
• Drive supplier relationship management processes
• Report to Leadership on Market Trends and Category Performance​
• General understanding of Direct material categories and water treatment technologies (products and operations).
• Familiarity with market trends and key suppliers in the relevant Categories.
• Knowledge of Supply base for Valves, Pipes & Fittings, Instruments, Analyzers, RO Pressure vessels
• Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of developing presentations and comfortable interacting with internal/external stakeholders and Water Tech senior management.

QualificationsWhat skills and background will you likely have?

• Bachelor’s degree or time-served experience
• Solid experience in Category/Supplier Management, Purchasing, Production Control, Engineering, Product or Project management
• Experience in procurement of items in Flow, Electrical and Instrumentation Category
• Ability to travel – estimated to be 30% annually
