Job description: As the member of the Shared services Centre with responsibility for general accounting you will be critical to the accuracy of the ledger and to the management of relevant GL accounts (e.g. given country).REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES

• Managing team of GL accountants supporting them in problems resolution
• Motivating the team to meet objectives
• General accounting

• Perform various general accounting processes
• Reconcile asset and liability accounts
• Follow-up on inter-company accounts
• Handle various activities surrounding the monthly closing
• Coordination between sub-ledgers and General Ledger
• Coordination of accounting with several European entities
• Reporting in accordance with US GAAP
• Administrative tasks related to the position
• Coordination of accounting among several European facilities
• Participation in restructuring of European GL activities of the company
• Coordination of external and internal audits
• Cooperation on set up and development of Oracle R12 and SAP systems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education in accounting, finance area (High School or University)
• 3-6 years of professional experience within an accounting environment
• Working experience in finance / accounting
• Experience in similar role in a multinational company is a plus
• US GAAP experience is advantage and understanding of SOX
• Fluent English, second language is advantage
• PC skills (MS Office, accounting software, ORACLE system experience an advantage)
• Independent person with excellent organization skills
• Self-motivated, good communication skills and problem solver
