Job description: We’re Hiring: General Manager – Sales
Location: Sohar, Musandam, Buraimi, Suwaiq, Saham, or Shinas – Sultanate of OmanAre you a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record in driving retail and business growth? We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our BMB (Batinah, Musandam, Buraimi) region. This high-impact role blends retail sales, government engagement, and strategic management, driving results across multiple outlets in northern Oman.Role OverviewAs General Manager, you will oversee the commercial and operational performance of sales outlets and retail stores across the BMB region. You will manage a team of senior professionals and be responsible for sales growth, government contract acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and customer satisfaction.While telecom experience is a plus, it is not essential. What matters most is your strong background in sales, regional business leadership, and the ability to foster key relationships—especially with government officials and business clients.Key Responsibilities

• Lead sales and commercial operations across regional retail outlets.
• Develop and execute business growth strategies tailored to local market conditions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and corporate clients.
• Oversee marketing initiatives, sales targets, and regional KPIs.
• Manage budgeting, resource planning, and regional financial performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with national strategy.
• Drive performance, motivate teams, and develop talent across the region.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Solid background in sales, retail operations, or business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong understanding of regional dynamics in Sohar, Musandam, Buraimi, Suwaiq, Saham, or Shinas.
