Job description: Job PurposeThe role will be responsible for leading and managing all the front-end treasury related activities within the group in a centralized manner. The role will be the focal point for arranging financing, investing surplus funds, managing relationship with banks, key regulators, and other stakeholders. The role would also entail active management and bringing synergies in treasury operations through centralization and automation.Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 1/4Set up and lead a new department of Centralized Front-end Treasury at Engro Corporation. This department will be responsible for group financing arrangements, including subsidiaries and new projects along with investment decisions related to surplus funds.Once the department has been set up, this position will be responsible to develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes in a controlled, automated, and efficient operational environment and strive for continuous improvement and efficiency in the following area’s:

• Own the short-term financing forecast across the subs and at the ECorp
• Arrangement of short term, long term, and trade lines for all subsidiaries
• Manage per party limits at the group level – current Limit ~ PKR 400 billion

Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 2/4Develop strong relationship with all Corporate Banking Heads and Corporate & Investment Banking Group Heads at local commercial and foreign banks operating in Pakistan. Create synergies with banks to attain best financing solutions and support for existing businesses and new projects. Develop engagement plans for ECorp and subsidiaries senior management to meet regularly with banks, SBP and other key stakeholders.My responsibility involves recognizing and addressing risks across all group companies, spanning interest rates, foreign exchange, credit, liquidity, and regulatory compliance.Overseeing the cash flows of all affiliated companies within the group is pivotal to ensuring seamless liquidity for daily operations and approved capital expenditures (capex). This entails ongoing monitoring of cash flows and the timely arrangement of both short-term and long-term financing as needed.As the central hub for all macroeconomic matters within the group, my role encompasses the forecasting of key indicators such as interest rates, foreign exchange rates (forex), inflation, and gross domestic product (GDP).Act as a coach and leader to the team and live the core values of Engro in line with the Central Idea and other critical frameworks implemented at Engro.Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 3/4Actively seeking and developing new proposals for better returns on surplus funds investment by engaging with external investment advisors, mutual fund companies and banks keeping in view each entity’s liquidity and tax efficiencyEnsure that all subsidiaries make the best financing structures and attain the best solutions to achieve the optimal capital structures. Each transaction should be better for the entity or beneficial for the whole group.Provide strategic and tactical direction to teams, ensure the team remains motivated, highly empowered, and performs at optimum standards while delivering the best quality of output.Key Accountabilities & Performance Indicators 4/4Leadership and Functional CompetenciesKey Knowledge AreasEducation & Technical QualificationsMastersCertificationsProfessional Experience

• 12+ years of experience in commercial banking, corporate finance and / or corporate treasury
• Relationships with local commercial and foreign banks, regulators, associations and multilateral agencies
• Extensive understanding of investments and financing related products
• Understanding of Prudential Regulations related to corporates
