Skills & Competencies:• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IND AS, GAAP).• Proficiency in ERP (Tally Prime, SAP) and Excel.• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.• Ability to reconcile accounts and maintain financial accuracy.• Good communication skills to collaborate with finance, audit, and compliance teams Duties & Responsibilities: 1. General Ledger Accounting & Month-End Close:• Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledger entries for all financial transactions.• Ensure timely closing of books by reconciling all accounts at month-end.• Prepare adjusting journal entries, accruals, and provisions for financial accuracy.• Review and reconcile fixed assets, prepayments, deferred expenses, and depreciation entries. 2. Reconciliations & Financial Accuracy:• Perform bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations.• Ensure correct mapping of GL across all transactions.• Analyze ledger discrepancies and resolve accounting mismatches.• Validate inventory, COGS, and production-related costs for accuracy 3. Financial Reporting & MIS Support:• Prepare trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet schedules ensuring alignment with reporting standards.• Generate reports on ledger variances, aging analysis, and cost allocations.• Support FP&A with reconciled data for financial analysis and business insights.• Assist in variance analysis and provide commentary for management review. 4. Compliance & Audit Readiness:• Maintain audit-ready books by ensuring proper documentation of financial transactions.• Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits by preparing supporting schedules.• Ensure compliance with IND AS, Companies Act, and other applicable financial regulation 5. ERP & Process Automation:• Ensure seamless ERP integration (Tally Prime) for financial transactions.• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities in GL accounting.• Implement controls to prevent incorrect postings, duplicate entries, and manual errorsexperience 10 …
