The General Ledger Assistant Accountant leads General Ledger Officers and assists the General Ledger and Assets Accountant with providing effective, customer-focused and timely General Ledger services to clients.You will also have staff supervision experience, well-developed communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as good conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to solve difficult problems.To be successful in this role you will have well-developed knowledge of general ledger and accounting concepts, the Financial Management Act and Treasurer’s Instructions and the ability to interpret and apply such knowledge as necessary.As a measure to achieve equality under sections 51, 66R and 66ZP of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people (24 years of age and under) and people with disability who meet the requirements of the position may be prioritised for appointment.Employee Benefits
