We’re hiring a General Ledger Accountant on behalf of a leading multinational client with operations across Europe.This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or experienced finance professional to join a collaborative team and gain exposure to international accounting, financial reporting, and commercial finance.Duties:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and profit & loss analysis
• Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
• Handle payroll accounting, VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory filings
• Support KPI reporting, budgeting, and financial statement preparation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, commercial, and operations
• Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Drive process improvements and contribute to finance transformation projects
• Liaise with international finance teams across EMEA

Skills

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in GL accounting, financial reporting, or commercial finance
• Fluency in Italian and English (essential)
• Strong Excel and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
