Job description: General Ledger Accountant – 12 Month Contract – Up to £45,000 – Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid)IN2 Consult are working with a large, international client of ours based in Hemel Hempstead to support them in hiring for a General Ledger Accountant to join the team on a 12 month contract. They offer good hybrid working. This role is well suited to somebody who is Part Qualified.The duties of the General Ledger Accountant role include:

• Posting journals
• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Reviewing and reconciling accounts
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Preparing taxes and processing VAT returns
• Liaising with external auditors

The successful General Ledger Accountant will:

• Be part qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Have 3 years experience of working as a General Ledger Accountant or similar
• Have strong IT skills – including good Excel
• Have experience of using SAP

General Ledger Accountant – 12 Month Contract – Up to £45,000 – Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid)

Expected salary: £40000 – 45000 per year

Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
