Job description: PermanentDublin City Centre, Dublin€45000 – €50000 per annum bonus. pension, healthcare etc.General Ledger AccountantMy client are seeking an experienced GL Accountant to manage general ledger accounting and reporting for international entities. This role involves hands-on financial operations and compliance in a dynamic, multinational environment. Ideal candidate will have a fluency in English and Italian OR French. Working as part of team the General Ledger Accountant reports into the Accounting ManagerDuties:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, trial balances, and P&L analysis.
• Review journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Handle payroll accounting and tax filings (VAT, CIT, etc.).
• Ensure accurate month-end and quarter-end reporting.
• Support annual financial statement preparation and KPI reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Assist in maintaining and enhancing accounting procedures.

• Liaise with cross-functional teams and international finance departments.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Resolve day-to-day accounting issues and support ad-hoc projects.

• Detail-oriented with solid business understanding
